A new opportunity has arisen for a skilled Technician to join our team based in Singapore. This is a fantastic chance to play a pivotal role in Civil Aerospace Aftermarket Operations by supporting business-critical engine maintenance activities within the global Rolls-Royce network.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defense vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities

  • Carry out disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and testing of aero engine components and modules.
  • Perform work in accordance with approved technical procedures and company standards (EASA/CAAS Part 145 or equivalent).
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery used in engine servicing and component repair.
  • Accurately complete documentation, including work records and inspection reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) standards and promote a Zero Harm culture.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Quality Inspectors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Diploma or Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Hands-on experience in engine or component maintenance, preferably in aerospace or a high-precision manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of EASA/CAAS Part 145 or similar aviation regulatory standards is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of workshop practices and safety protocols.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and work instructions.
  • Team player with strong attention to detail and discipline in documentation and quality control.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
